HOSPITALITY MINISTRY

1 peter 4:9-10, “Show hospitality to one another without grumbling. As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace.” We provide a welcoming environment of love, acceptance, comfort, support, care, and unity for visitors, members, guests, and friends to enhance their worship experience.

Responsibility of Leader

The hospitality ministry is designed to assist the Pastor in the care and well-being of the church body. Responsibilities include:

• Oversee the activities that involve hospitality and care ministries
• Be alert to the church membership and the community’s need to serve those in need
• Greet new members, guests and visitors
• Prepare food preparation
• Set-up communion
• Cards and flower ministry

The hospitality leader must be able to provide leadership towards the team members, be spirit-led, be resourceful, and coordinate events and personnel. The leader must work with other ministry leaders to ensure a quality-of-life changing ministry.
